Fall Wildfires Hazard in Greek Islands?

It depends on the island you have in mind. Many islands are devoid of forests and/or extensive ground cover, and many structures are made from rocks, concrete and mortar, none of which pose a fire hazard.

It should be less hot and less dry in October. Then again, anything is possible.

I’ve been on Andros in late September when there have been fires big enough to need planes and helicopters to quench. They controlled it within a couple of days. I think Lee is right though that it depends where you are.
