Experiences with Aegean Airlines

I don't see what issue you could experience with Aegean. I fly regularly with this airline. I've never had any issues.

Aegean is regularly ranked among the best in Europe.

Anyway, if you're stressed before taking a flight, I don't think the airline has anything to do with it, nor even a specific Athens-Milan flight. It could rather be what is usually called anticipatory stress.

We have used them a few times , they are decent airline !

It is always easier when flying Business Class as you are afforded dedicated fast track at the airport as well as boarding privileges plus more attention on board. We always use Aegean preferentially over other airlines.

I have as well. The planes I have traveled on have been to the islands and back so perhaps are smaller than those to Milan. But in my experience, your luggage has to be very small to fit as a carry on. I carry on generally but each time I have flown on Aegean I purchased a class of tickets that allow for a checked bag.

The other thing to know is that you may have to take a bus to the plane and then climb steps which is another reason to check your bag. But that isn't just Aegean. It is Athens. I had to do the same this summer flying on ITA to Athens and leaving Athens on United.

Just to confirm that international flights with Aegean are on Airbus A320s or A321Neos, the flights Beth is referring to, with slightly smaller baggage sizes, are flights to some islands operated on ATR Turboprops.
Baggage sizes and weights are clearly indicated when you select the fare.
