In Firostefani try the traditional Greek Taverna, Aktaion, the oldest restaurant on the island (since 1922).

I second Lee's suggestion of Aktaion. We had a delicious meal there. If it's warm enough, you can get a table outdoors by the wall overlooking the caldera.
Another restaurant we really like in Firostefani is Remvi. We had a delicious dinner on their deck overlooking the caldera.
And we had a nice breakfast one morning at To Tobriki.

Additional votes for Aktaion & Remvi. I would encourage you to make reservations, as they can get crowded. The night we were at Aktaion, several parties of diners arrived with no reservation and were turned away for the evening.

I agree about making reservations especially at Aktaion. I made reservations several days before we arrived. We didn't have reservations for Remvi but it was crowded when we arrived. We were fortunate to get a table.
