We are signing up for a RS tour that ends on April 20th- Greek Easter. We want to add a week on at the end to explore other islands. Is the week after Easter a busy time in Greece? Are the kids out of school?

It looks like Greek Easter and western Easter are the same day in 2025. I think it could be a busy time because not only will the Greek schools be on a two week break, but most of the rest of Europe will also be on school break and many will visit Greece. We were in Greece for Easter last year and the two holidays were a week apart and we ran into several tourists from the rest of Europe. 2025 may be even busier.

We decided on the March 31- April 13 RS tour, and plan on staying an extra week post tour, which would have us flying back to the US Easter weekend. Does that help us avoid the crowds? Does anyone know if the school holiday is the weeks before or after Easter Sunday?

Our rough plan is to visit an island or two post tour. Will we have issues with transportation, hotels, etc.the week leading up to Easter? Our tour ends on the 13th and we will be flying back to the states on Good Friday or Easter Saturday.
