Early arrivers for RS 4/8/19 tour - consider joining a Sunday food tour

I'm arriving early for the RS Athens & the Peloponnese tour which begins on 4/8/19. I'm a big fan of food tours and am hoping to do the Culinary Backstreets "Moveable Sunday Feast" mentioned in the RS book. I think it'll be a great way to get my bearings and enjoy some local food. Only rub is they still need a couple more folks for the tour to go. So if you're arriving early and making your plans for Sunday 4/8 consider joining this tour...and we won't have to eat for the rest of the day!

A better choice for a food tour would be with Athenian native Kostas of Athens Walks, a local company. We spent a wonderful morning with this interesting young man, a private tour which was very reasonable. Our Greek friends were impressed by the places he took us. He formerly was a member of the Evzones, palace guards. Culinary Backstreets are found in cities all over the world.

I hope you find some more to go on the Culinary Backstreets tour. I went last September and it was awesome! A highlight of my trip!

molfit,

We're doing the Alternative Athens food tour on Monday morning before the 4/8 tour starts. The longer tour on Sunday looked like a bit too much and just after we arrive. We'll compare notes on the tour!
