Can anyone recommend a good "Durrells in Corfu" type of experience? Kind of an overwhelming number of tours available online. Will be on a Star Clippers cruise and have a 4-hour-ish window in town.

You may need to explain a bit. I`m familiar with the TV show (and even read Gerald's books back in the day), but I don't know what you're looking for.
Another reason you haven't gotten any responses yet may be that not too many of the posters here have been to Corfu.

Thanks, acraven! Just looking for a tour that has a good guide to visit the Durrells' home and other places of interest where they filmed the show, and maybe a stop for a cup of tea. :) Nothing worse than an uninteresting guide and a poorly-arranged outing, so was hoping someone could point me to a really good one. Like I said, googling "Durrells in Corfu tour" comes up with a ton of options and I'd hate to pick a bad one.

Cynthia, you might check Trip Advisor which has special section on Corfu, with Thousands of Posts - you can even put into a blank slot your topic "Best Durell's Tour?" and their program will pop up with all threads on that topic. Corfu is a top favorite with British tourists because of package holidays, and direct flights from Britain... many fewer N. Americans go there.
