I want to reassure those who have been considering car rental in Greece, but have been put off by reports here. W just rented a car for 2 days on Rhodes, in order to explore Lindos and some of the hill villages near it.. We saw no craziness on the part of other drivers. We routinely observe more speeding at home in the S.F. Bay Area than we saw in Rhodes. We heard almost no honking , and observed no hostile or aggressive behavior. Our next experience will be on Crete. I'll post about what we experience there.
