After a long trip to get to Crete, with two connections between Ottawa and Chania, I was very happy to see Kostas waiting for me on arrival. I arrived exhausted and the 20 euros charge for having this pre-arranged pick-up was cheap, given that the airport is not that near. Chatting with him on the way in, I found him to have excellent English skills, he's very personable and seems to know his stuff quite well.
I know that he also does excursions for cruise ship passengers and one-way pick-ups/drop-offs to points such as Heraklion. He came as a TA recommendation from the Crete Forum, where he is a respected regular contributor. His car was a big, comfortable, shiny model (sorry, I'm not a car person LOL, so I don't know what model it was exactly).
