Dinner recommendations? One night in Delphi, Two nights in Olympia

We ended having good local food in both towns and didn’t have reservations in advance. It is wonderful staying overnight in both towns but Delphi is particularly nice at night.

I have been to Delphi a bunch of times. The place I go to is Epikouros. It serves lots of tourists but has the ideal view. They are busy at 8 but you can get a window table if you come at 7.

Frankly, I prefer the dining options in Arachova, just down the road.

Also, if it matters, Delphi and Olympia are very similar, yet require a long drive to get from one to the other. If your itinerary would be dramatically streamlined by cutting one of the other, consider doing that. Delphi is the better of the two because of its stunning setting and terrific views that you don't get in Olympia.

I don’t recall the names of where we ate dinner, all nice but not upscale. I don’t associate 5 star ambiance with those towns.

LOL, Frank. I should have clarified… two separate trips. We will be in Delphi for a one-nighter out of Athens at the beginning of October and then Olympia later in the month as part of our loop around the peninsula. We will have a car in both places so I like the idea of going further down the road to grab dinner at a less touristy place. Thank you!
