dining in naxos

We always go to Naxos town waterfront promenade and harbour to have a pre dinner drink and watch the sun set. Lots of choices. I am assuming you will be staying in Naxos town or St George beach.

We love Boulamatsis — one street up from the waterfront, with a balcony overlooking the port. Run by a friendly family, and mama is a marvelous cook. I still dream about the chicken in the oven with those delicious Naxos potatoes.

Boulamatis is also a great place for fresh beautifully fried fish filets -- at a great price (fish can be your most expensive meal choice).

We loved our meals at To Elleniko and Meltemis. Both are located a block or two from the harbor.
