Delphi day trip from Athens recommendations

Hello!

We will be on a 10 night Greek Island cruise in October that ends in Athens.

We are spending 3 nights in Athens then flying home.
Disembarking day will be spent in Athens near our hotel
The next day we have a private Best of Athens tour.

I SO badly want to visit Delphi, but only have one more full day. I am wondering if it is worth it as a day tour from Athens, and if there are any recommendations for a private driver to take us there?

A day trip from Athens to Delphi is totally worth it. It has incredible ruins but also a setting that can't be easily beat. Read this when you have time you might find it useful.
