Two quick questions...
We have booked two nights in Delphi in mid March. Besides the obvious ancient sites there, is there a special place, location, curiosity, or even a restaurant or shop that we should attempt to visit by car from Amfissa to Arachova and from Itea to Galaxida? For example: I read that there's an olive oil factory in Amfissa and there are public paths one can walk above Delphi for views. We are asking for any ideas in this region to round out our stay.
Also, we're looking for a town to unwind in for one afternoon/evening/next morning somewhere around the ATH airport (within 30 minutes or so by car). Seems to be lots of empty rooms this time of year around the airport along the Attica coast as well as farther inland. Any special places you have in mind or thoughts about Port Rafti, Spata, or any place westward towards Vari?
Although history and geography are a passion, we're open to any ideas.
