We are 3 well traveled gals in our early 60's spending 10-14 days in the Cyclades - our RS tour ends October 2 '16. Looking for 3-4 islands each with different experiences. We like relaxing, hiking, local culture, beaches, shopping, eating, wine and having fun - but not feeling rushed!
We are considering flying Athens to Santorini, ferry to Folegandros and Naxos with a side trip tour to Delos/Mykanos, then back to Athens and home. Mostly because all 3 seem "different" and have good ferry connections. Would you suggest these islands? How many days on each island?
Crete was considered but research tells me we should spend at least a week to "do it right". We know Santorini is expensive and a cruise port but need to cross it off our Bucket List!
Help?! Thanks!
