We have rented a catamaran that sleeps 12 to sail for a week in the Cyclades Islands. Trying to identify a reasonable itinerary for a group that ranges in age from mid-20's to 70, but all in good health and relatively active. Trip will be the last week in august, and we anticipate that many of us will stay in Athens for a couple of days prior to setting sail (thoughts on accommodation for this part also appreciated). Group generally likes site seeing, historic sites, snorkeling, diving, body surfing, hiking, but unlikely to want to do a lot of night life or sun bathing.
Is it barebones or do you have a skipper on board? It would make a difference in what I'd recommend, because it really needs a skipper to manage many things. BTW, I hope that you have rented a vessel that is based in the Cyclades so you can Start from there ... if it's based in Piraeus it takes forever to get to even 2 cycladic islands. (Hope u researched this before putting down deposit).
Janel - thanks for the reply. The ship comes with captain, first mate, and cook so we will be taken care of well. Leaving and returning to Athens. Will have the availability of meals on board, but will also be doing some dining in towns to get a more realistic flavor of the islands. Let me know if you need more info. Again, thanks for your help!
