We're looking at eastern Mediterranean cruises that hit Athens and Istanbul. Usually the cruise has several stops in Greece. Is 1 day OK for Athens considering the other stops or should we make sure we have Athens planned for 2 days....Thanks in advance

Been to Athens twice on Med cruises. Athens has always been our starting or ending port. We love Athens and stay at least 2 days.

Please give us some information. What is your departure port? Is it Athens? It is not clear from your post because you say you can be in Athens for one or two days which suggest the departure port will be Athens.

I think at least 2 days is right for justvAthens and not doing any day trips from there.
We sailed with NCL last year and thevship overnighted in Istanbul
