Crete to Santorini ferry in April?

I’m planning our first trip to Greece for the first week of April 2022. I have heard that a few ferries will run from Crete to Santorini at this time, but I can’t find any schedules. Does this mean there are no ferries…or that the schedules aren’t published yet? Thanks.

I tried a booking for 1 May 2022 and this can be booked. There is nothing showing for April, so this service doesn’t run then as it’s still part of the winter season.

In past years the ferries between Crete and Santorini did not begin seasonal operation until mid-late April, sometime just before Greek Easter weekend, which is April 24 in 2022. The one exception to this is the Anek Lines "Prevelis", which operates all year long but only one or two days each week. It's too soon to know what the Prevelis' schedule will be for next April but eventually you will be able to see it on their website: https://www.anek.gr/en/vessel/fb-prevelis

It was 7 years ago, but we took a ferry the opposite direction, from Santorini to Heraklion. It was in early October and it was a fast Seajets catamaran that couldn't go quite as fast as expected due to the wind. There are many different ferries in the fleet (https://www.seajets.gr/en/learn-about-seajets/fleet)

If you go to SEAJETS ROUTE SCHEDULE 2021 (https://www.seajets.gr/en/travel-with-us/routes) and click on the Heraklio - Cyclades arrow it will take you to a pdf with the timetables for 12 June to 10 October of this year. According to the note at the top of the page "Extra itineraries will be added shortly." That pdf timetable shows that Santorini is the first stop after you leave Heraklion. If you look closely you can also see that Santorini is the last stop before the ferry returns to Heraklion. The other islands on the route vary from day to day.

You can go to the Contact page (https://www.seajets.gr/contact), ask them questions via email and even sign up for their email newsletter.
