Credit cards vs cash

Hello,
We are headed to Greece next month for 16 days. This is our 3rd trip to Europe but our first post pandemic. On our previous trips we used primarily cash. However, many places where we live in Seattle have gone cashless. Is cash still preferable in Greece? How easy is it to use credit cards in Greece?

You can use your credit card for almost all your expenses in Greece, but plan to have some cash for small expenses under €10 such as local bus, coffee or drink in a bar, tips, etc.

Some taxi drivers also tend to have, coincidentally, their Credit Card terminal broken.

A cash withdrawal at local ATMs can cost significant additional fees, plan to have cash before coming to Greece,

Both. Have some petty cash for small purchases at kiosks & shops. Then credit cards for larger items, eating at sit down restaurants, etc
