COVID 19 New rules in Greece

From May 1st , presentation of a vaccination certificate (Health Pass) or negative test in places where they are currently mandatory (restaurants, bars, museums, etc.), will no longer be necessary.

From June 1st, the obligation to wear a mask is removed with the exception of transport and medical establishments.

These measures will be reviewed on September 1st.

Thank you for the update. I am traveling to Greece in May / June. We have mostly planned outdoor activities so will not matter much. But I am leery of getting covid so would rather not have had any change in regulations.

I'm off to Athens on Friday. All the airline wanted from me was either proof of vaccine or a negative test.

But it looks like I'd better take a selection of masks.

Franck II: When you will arrive in Greece on Friday, and until April 30, your vaccination certificate will be requested in all places where it is required today

Do they accept a digital Covid vaccine record or do we have to bring our card with us? We’re leaving for Greece next Thursday 😃

Claudette, I guess your fellow Americans who have been to Greece recently will be able to give you the correct answer in this forum.

Thank you for the information! We have been waiting to see if things open up for all. I will be watching to see if the museum websites change their information on entry requirements after May 1 before purchasing anything. We have been waiting for vacation approval from jobs, now we actually have a place we could possibly go, exciting. Well there have been several trips to Florida and Hawaii the last two years.
