Corfu, summer 2025

Hi there

I'm travelling to Corfu, spending a month there in summer 2025. I wondered if I might be able to connect with anyone else with similar plans (male or female, any age. I'm a young 53 from Derby in England) as while I'm excited about the opportunity to explore on my own and do a lot of much-needed reflection on my trip, meeting other like-minded travellers is never a bad idea! I know there'd be a lot of users on this site from the US and that would be interesting to me, too.

So if anyone might be heading to Corfu next summer, or interested in that, I'd love to hear from you.

You might do better other travel forums, because there are fewer Corfu seekers here. <any using this forum are either first-timers, or people coming from faraway at great cost, so they tend to aim for the more historic or scenically-famous islands .... I've noted that Corfu inquirers more often tend to be from UK or European countries where's its quicker/less expensive to reach greece, and they may be more interested in a pleasant holiday in nice weather, (much as we go to Florida), whereas N. Americans' and Australians speak of wanting to "see Greece." Both aims are worthy, just result in different destination choices.
