We would like to see if using a guide in Corfu is useful and if so who do you recommend. We will be there for 6 hours

are you on a cruise? we did a greek island cruise from venice, visiting corfu as one of our stops. we booked a half day tour with dimitri (corfutaxiprivatetours.gr) i sent an email about what we wanted and what he recommended. very prompt with emails. there were 4 of us, two we met on cruise and shared the cost.
met us at cruise port and away we went. showed us the highlights of his island, stopped and tasted kumquat liquer, tasted olives and olive oil, drove thru small skinny villages that barely a bus could pass by, gorgeous views from up above and drove by beaches, stopping for photo ops. dropped off in town, had a bite to eat with some corfu beer at outside cafe and walked back to ship.
was a faboulous, fun and informing day. A+ for a friendly, easy to talk with and funny guide. you'll have a great day if you decide to hire him. enjoy
