Hi, I will be connecting from a domestic flight, from Terminal 2 to International Terminal 4 on Delta. no check in luggage, just carry on, and a 1 1/2 hr. connecting time window. Do I take the Air Train or the Delta Shuttle Bus? Do not have time to go through security again. Has anyone recently had this experience or know the answer.

Booked the RT all at once, so yes I believe it's considered a single ticket.

The JFK website says the following:
"Between Terminals 2 and 4:
Use Delta’s JFK Jitney shuttle bus.
Delta’s JFK Jitney makes three stops between Terminals 2 and 4, near gate C60 in Terminal 2 and near gates B54 and B18 in Terminal 4. This service is free and you will not have to go through TSA security again."

What the previous poster said: Take the Jitney. I frequently have that connection, most recently last month. It's very easy and the Delta employees are friendly and helpful.
