Connecting Flight ATH to RHO

This summer, my husband and I are traveling on Air France from CDG to Rhodes via Athens on Aug 10th. We have a connecting flight on Aegean Air from ATH to RHO on a separate ticket. When I originally booked the flights, we had a 2-hour window to make the connection. Air France has changed our flight time, so we now have 1 hour and 45 minutes between flights. Do you think this is doable? I have read many previous posts on this forum recommending no less than 2 hours between connecting flights, but I have to wonder if we can't still make it with just 15 minutes less. Please share your thoughts. Thanks!

Given you are flying within the Schengen zone, there will be no passport control to deal with at ATH, the issue is will you have checked bags you will need to retrieve and re-check? If so, you may want to research now what 'Plan B' is to be prepared should things not go as planned.

Thank you, Joe32F. I had planned to check baggage, but I probably need to reconsider given the change. I'm the one who always has the larger suitcase. My husband rarely has to worry about checked baggage.
