Can anyone recommend a hotel in old town Chania that offers parking? We are renting a car and hesitant to stay anywhere without.

Old town Chania is pedestrian only, No parking no space. You can find parking at both ends of the main waterfront area with just a short walk to your hotel in old town.
Do not leave anything valuable in your car and their is no risk of break in.

I have stayed at the Kydon many times, which technically isn't in the old town but it is across the street from the central market adjacent to the old town. They have a private car park available. I would recommend the Kydon for a parking friendly hotel in the heart of Chania

You might want to start your search on Theotokopouluo Street
There are several good hotels in the area and there is on street parking plus a small parking lot at the entrance at the city walls.
