Carryon luggage restrictions (liquids)

For those that have done the 14 day Greece tour, and bringing only carry-on luggage, how easy is it to purchase the necessary hygiene products when you get to Athens?

It's very easy. Lots of people live in Athens and there are many stores.

Probably not the brands you are used to, but something similar is available. You may have to go to more than one store, can't speak specifically for Greece, but in most of Europe there are few "superstores" that sell everything, at least in city centers. Some stuff may be found in pharmacies, others in a "beauty" store, some possibly in a supermarket.

The Athens metropolitan area has some 3 million inhabitants and thousands of places where you can find what you are looking for. Downtown in the "AB" supermarkets for example.

If you are looking for a specific product (organic, anti-allergenic, etc.) also try the pharmacies. They speak English

We took this tour several years ago and as I recall, many of the hotels provided shampoo/conditioner/soap. Using the olive oil based products was a nice change from the usual.

I’ve switched to toothpaste tablets and bar shampoo and bar conditioner. Makes traveling so much easier!!
