Car Service from Athens Airport to near Acropolis

We used welcome pickups for this and the reverse, in 2018. Good experience, pleasant drivers and they were on-time even for my 4AM pickup for an early flight.

Welcome Pickups have served me well both for airport arrival and departure and trips to and from the port. Cost for airport into Athens, near Acropolis, is shown as 38€ on website. Immaculate non-smoking Mercedes cars. Book on line and pay in advance. Tipping is not expected but I did on one occasion when my driver helped me buy a new suitcase when mine collapsed when it was unloaded at the port! He went above and beyond! Oh and all the drivers speak good English.

We used a taxi from the airport to our hotel near the Acropolis 4 years ago. It was €38. Our driver was wonderful. He also does guided tours so we felt like we had a great introduction to Athens.

Taxi fare is a flat rate, 38€.

I arranged pick up through our apartment owner/manager and it worked just as it should.

We have used City Cab (used to be Athens City cab). They are a private transfer service. Driver who speaks good English meets you at arrival level door and help you with luggage. Large Mercedes vehicle. Price is exactly the same as the posted Taxi fares.

We arranged for a pick up at our VRBO at 5AM to get us to the airport for an early flight. The driver was on the sidewalk outside our door at 4:50. They are punctual and reliable. You can book on line.
