Caldera Hotels in Santorini

Not in Oia but on caldera way above the ferry port
Alati suites walkable to megalochori

My husband and I stayed at Esperas hotel in Oia 7 years ago and it was lovely! Sunset views over the caldera from our room:

Walk down the stairs from the hotel to Ammoudi Bay. Heaven!

We recently stayed in Santorini View Studios in Firostefani.

It was fabulous. Right on top of the caldera with sensational views. Our room had a lounge and a kitchenette and private hot tub on the large verandah.

Best of all only six steps down from the pedestrian only path at the top, which was full of shops and restaurants.

Far from the madding crowds of Oia and Fira, which what appeared to be just as good, if not better, views.

Not Oia I'm afraid but I would also recommend you have a look at the wonderful Santorini View Studios as DebH suggests. https://www.santoriniviewstudio.com/ Another property to have a look at is Villa Lukas in Imerovigli. https://www.lukas-suites.com/ Deluxe suites have a very private terrace with hot tub and absolutely incredible views and sunsets. Sorry I have never stayed in Oia, too busy and manic for me, but hopefully you will get some more suggestions.

I stayed at Imerovigli and loved it. Oia hotels are very expensive.

I stayed at Ianthe Apartments and Villa in Oia. They fill up fast though.

Missymoo, I think you were the one who put me onto Santorini Studios, way back when I posted about places without too many steps.

I could never remember who it was, and now I know I want to thank you so much.

It was wonderful, one of the best places we have ever stayed.

Georgia was an absolute gem, the views were stunning, location perfect. The only small fly was in three weeks in Greece our worst weather was in Santorini, but we did at least get a good sunset on our last night.

You are so welcome DebH and I am glad, and very relieved!, that you enjoyed it so much. We were hoping to have 2 nights in September but sadly higher prices in September have put it out of range for us. Georgia is indeed an absolute gem.

LIthies Traditional Homes in Firostefani was terrific! Five star service from Maria; complimentary wine on our terrace each evening with gorgeous sunsets. The "Eros" home was just perfect for us. Maria made dinner reservations for us in Oia. The crowds in that part of the island were insane with wall to wall people. Since you are planning to go in June, i would recommend you reserve a place quickly. We loved Santorini!
