I would like comments/feedbacks about buying Turkish carpets in Rhodes, Greece. Do they a large selection? Are the carpets that they sell there comparable to what you can buy in Istanbul. We are unable to travel to Istanbul this trip but I would love to purchase another Turkish carpet while in Rhodes.

I don't know anything about the carpets sold in Rhodes, but if you're going to be there for awhile you can easily take a daytrip ferry across to Bodrum or Marmaris or Fethiye on the So. Turkey coast where you can find all the Turkish carpets you could ever want to purchase. No need to go to Istanbul. For example, take the 9am morning ferry to Marmaris and return to Rhodes at 5:30pm. Each direction takes only 45 minutes.
