I'm traveling to Heraklion next week and was hoping to incorporate a stop at the Palace of Phaistos/Faistos archeological site. When I attempted to book a bus seat on the KTEL site, the closest bus stop on their route map was a good 25 minute walk away from the palace archeological site. According to Google Street view, just updated a few months ago, there's a KTEL bus stop right outside of the site called Festos, but it isn't showing up on KTEL's maps or dropdown menus. Has anyone been there and know which name on their site I should actually be using?
Please note, I have tried contacting them via e-mail, but like several other places I've reached out to on Crete for information on other topics, they've not responded. Thank you in advance.
