Hi all, I’m planning a trip in April to several islands in the Cyclades but booking sites are showing no availability. Is this because they are really booked already or not open that early in season?

Booking.com shows plenty of accommodation options in the Cyclades that you can reserve now for April 2026.

You should wait before booking. The 2025 season isn't over yet, and hotel and accommodation owners haven't yet set their rates for 2026, which is why you see all these unavailabilities.
For many, after the current season ends, they'll be taking vacations, and booking won't be possible until the beginning of the following year.
Also, many airlines (including Greek airlines) haven't yet established their flight schedules for April 2026 and ferry schedules are far from being finalized.
Which islands do you want to travel to? You have no idea what the travel options will be between the mainland and the islands, or between the islands in April 2026. There's no point booking accommodation if you don't know how and when to get there unless you plan to swim.
