I know Elafonisi pink Sand Beach and Balos are very nice beaches to visit while in Crete, but I am interested in taking a boat ride from Chania to a separate island beach for the day. Can anyone recommend a tour that would allow me to leave from Jania and get the boat ride back to Chania. The only thing I wanna do is stay at the beach for the day and return.

Well this may not be exactly what you want but Wanderlust tours has a pretty good tour. Its a private company and takes no more than 12 people on their tours.
It departs Chania by bus and drives all the way to the tip of the island to Falasarna the huge beach at the far west end of the island. After time at the beach they take a boat trip to do a close sail by to see the fortress at Gramvossa and then spends a couple of hours at Balos beach. It returns to Falasarna for dinner then the bus trip back to Chania.
