We are coming off of a WindStar cruise of the Greek Isles and have a few extra days after we return. We decided to spend them in Oia. What is the best way to get there from Athens? Ferry or by plane?

While I am a big fan of the ferries, flying is the best way to get to Santorini.

5-8 hours by ferry, depending on which one you choose. 30 minutes by plane. You decide.

We found flying Aegean Air was convenient and economical. Wouldn't hesitate to fly with them again.
