My wife and I are looking to relax for 4 days in a non-touristy or less touristy location following the 14 Day Greece Tour in early April. We have been to Santorini and Mykonos (obviously very touristy) and will have been on Hydra at the end of the tour. We will be using the ferries or public transportation or taxi. Is Hydra worth a return trip? Or is there another small coastal village or small island or scenic area that we should investigate? We appreciate your insights. Thank you.
If you do not need to return to Athens immediately after Hydra, the ferry that takes you back to Athens Piraeus stops first at Poros.

In the other direction it goes to Porto Heli or Ermioni in the Peloponnese.
From there you are 1 hour driving time to Nafplio
Great suggestions. Thank you and have you had any experience with Naxos or Paros for comparison purposes?
I have been to Paros and Naxos several times but never to Poros.
Hydra is a special case, it is a small island without any cars (except the garbage truck), without sandy beaches, where all the activity is concentrated in a single village/port. The island is known for being the one where some artists and personalities, including Leonard Cohen, have lived.
The Argosaronic Gulf Islands are different from those of the Cyclades in terms of atmosphere and landscape.
