Can anyone recommend a tour guide for Athens April 9 or 10.? We arrive midday on the 8th and are taking a Silversea cruise beginning April 11th.
We have contacted all the tour guides recommended in Rick's "Greece Athens & The Peloponnese and haven't been able to get availability for our travel dates or even a response from some of the guides.
Try using the list of officially licensed guides on their website. You'll find over 1500 with their contact information.

I agree with salnav... Athens-Walks is so fully staffed with experienced licensed Guides that you should have no trouble booking private tours for exactly the times and sights you prefer,
We used Tours by Locals with licensed guide Nota Sarantopoulou in October 2025. The tour was called Athens Highlights Full Day Walking Tour. Check it out and see if this tour is right for you. Nota was super friendly and very knowledgeable.
