Athens to Thessaloniki - high speed train details

Thanks, Alan. I am looking at ending next spring’s trip in Thessaloniki and this will give me options to look at for return flights.

Thessaloniki is a lovely city and well worth a visit.

If you happen to be up near the castle it’s worth checking out this taverna. Great views but still family run with good food and reasonable prices.

Thanks, Alan! Duly noted! I really have no plans for Thessaloniki yet (absolutely no research done yet) - other than going at the end of my 4-6 week spring trip. But I want to see northern Greece coming from Albania via Corfu, as well as sitting around Kastraki again, and it seemed logical to head on to Thessaloniki. :) Flights don’t look bad right now but options are nice!
