I've become hooked on these huge white beans, which originate in Greece (at least the ones I order), and would like to order a dish featuring them while I'm in Athens this May. There is a dish called Gigandes Plaki that I would probably love. Does anyone know of a restaurant (or cafe) in Athens with such things on the menu? Thank you
I do not know of a Greek taverna that does NOT have gigantes on the menu.
Alas, Anafiotika, my favorite, does not. But it's good to know that finding them should be easy.
You may want to check out this taverna which is close to Anafiotika:
Or look here for others:

tommyk5, thanks! On the Scholarhio menu I see "giant beans cooked in sauce", perfect.
On our first trip to Athens many years ago we were recommended by friends to go to Scholarhio. We got there early around 6:30 to avoid any crowds. We were surprised that there were hardly any people eating. (Most Greeks don't eat till much later in the evening).
We ordered the menu for two with numerous choices of what to pick from including the Gigandes Beans. They were outstanding as were everything else we ate.
May should be not as crowded (tourist-wise) so if you like eating a bit earlier in the evening it will be a wonderful place to eat.
In addition there are numerous other tavernas all over Athens that serve those beans, mostly served as a mezze (appetizer).
Check out my photos of numerous meals I've had all over Greece including Athens and the Islands:
