We are hosting a multi-generational family trip to Greece in late May, beginning with two nights in Athens. We will be staying at the Niche Hotel and are looking for restaurants that can accommodate a group of eleven (maybe twelve) adults for dinner. One possibility is the rooftop restaurant at Niche, Stork, that overlooks the Acropolis. (Not taking reservations yet for May.) And, we have seen recommendations on this forum for Mani Mani which is close to the hotel. (Text and email messages to Mani Mani have gone unanswered.) So, we are hoping those of you who know and love Athens might have feedback about those two options and/or other suggestions. Thanks so much!

You are looking for a place that can accommodate quite a large group, without crowding, and with good service & quiet. This might be difficult to find in a popular rooftop terrace with Acropolis views, in a busy season. If you are willing to forego the Acropolis view, I can recommend a centrallly-located place to find this. I asked an Athenian friend, whose mother is a PR executive, and this is where she takes clients where she is confident about the experience -- It is ATHINAIKON -- a Long-established restaurant right across the MItropoleos Street from the Athens Cathedral.

I bellieve there is also an outdoor area for the fine May Weather -- in the rear of the establishment, not on the busy street side.
I brought my 2 friends tehre for a final-night dinner in late May, after a lengthy Greek visit, and it was just perfect. Traditional dishes done beautifully, impeccable service, so relaxing we lingered on and on.. I would recommend that you send an email, with any questions (such as outdoor seating) in advance,.

We have been to Mani Mani. It was very good. There were 6 of us and I made reservations the day before. I do not know how well they would accommodate your much larger group but if they can, it is a solid choice.
