After reading so many great tips from this forum and After looking at the tours Royal C cruise offers, we aren’t sure which or if we should even do a tour. Can you walk around and see acropolis without actually entering it. Just wonder if we could see enough of it without paying and waiting in lines.
How would you spend your day in Athens that would include a nice late lunch. 2 couples celebrating 40th and 50th anniversary.

The Acropolis is on top of a hill, so you can't see all that much of it standing below.
But you can see it if you go to a strategically positioned restaurant and sit on a
rooftop deck.
The Acropolis Museum would be a good place to visit before or after lunch.
Not sure why you need a tour to see the Acropolis; although it would be a nice
thing to do. You can also just buy an admission ticket and walk up to it.
