Hello, we'll be in Athens later this year, and are trying to decide between the Electra Palace Hotel and the Electra Metropolis Hotel. I'd appreciate your suggestions and comments. Thank you!

I have only stayed in the Electra Palace and will be staying for our 5th visit in May. The rooms, those with Acropolis views, are delightful . Breakfast every day upstairs in rooftop restaurant (with views) is also great. Excellent location.

I was torn with this too.
We've ended up choosing the Metropolis because I want a room with a balcony.
The Metropolis was cheaper for a larger room, and it just seems a bit more up to date.
Reviews are great for both though, so I doubt you can go wrong.
