My family and i are going to stay extra 3 days in Athens after our cruise. Would someone please give me any suggestions on
how i would go about finding transportation from the dock to the hotel near Acropolis Hill . Any suggestions on hotels or airbnb since i only have 3 days in Athens and would like to do a lot of sightseeing. Thanks

Try Uber to get to town, cheap and fast. We stayed at InnAthens. Hope that helps. Three days is perfect to see a lot in Athens. May I suggest an orientation free walking tour when you arrive?

If your cruise takes place between May and October you can take the X80 express bus. This is the only means of public transportation to get to downtown Athens from the cruise terminal and vice versa. But it will probably be easier to get into town by taxi

Please note that Uber in Greece are official taxis that use the Uber application. Taxi service by drivers without a taxi license is prohibited in Greece.
Regarding hotels or Airbnb, just look on the usual accommodation reservation platforms or the Airbnb website to see the thousands of offers available in Athens. Any basic travel guide will tell you which neighborhoods to choose when visiting Athens (many Airbnbs require a minimum stay of 3 nights).

Here's a good hotel next to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, on the quieter south side but also near the Metro. We liked it, there are many other choices.
