We will be in Athens in September and are considering a food tour before our RS tour begins. In the 2023 Greece book, Rick recommends Alternative Athens, Culinary Backstreets, and Eat With. Does anyone have recent experience with any of these folks or have another group to recommend? TIA

I love anything that Culinary Backstreets does. I did the Moveable Sunday feast in Athens but I’m sure any of their Athens tours would be great.

Culinary Backstreets and Eat With are intermediaries that only list food tours offered locally (charging you a few Euros more in the process).
Try Alternative Athens or Athens Walking Tours instead

Athens Walks does culinary tours. The owner Kostas is an Athenian local and a former member of the Evzones, Presidential guards. We had an exceptional tour with Kostas which included a lot of culinary sites. I highly recommend a tour him.
