We will be visiting Greece next May on a small cruise ship. We will stop in Athens, Delphi, Corfu and Argostoli. Love to go to local markets, stroll around villages, people watch, try the local food. Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
I find with queries like this, it helps to include how much time you have, and also demonstrate that you have already done some cursory research and have your own tentative list of activities planned.

Valadelphia, Thank you. We will be on a cruise. Therefore, this is an introduction as we have only one day in every port. We plan to come to Athens three days ahead of our departure. We are staying at the MGallery hotel. Our cruise takes us through the Corinthian Canal and stops in Delphi. We have several options in the works to see the ruins. I am wondering about the town. I haven’t been able to find much information. From there we will stop in Corfu. I’m hoping that getting from the pier to Old Town Corfu is doable and hopefully to explore. Would love a recommendation for a nice restaurant where we can enjoy local cuisine and watch the local scene. Our final stop in Greece is Argostoli. Haven’t made much progress here but we aren’t going until May.
That is really helpful and I am sure some of the Greek experts will have some suggestions. It is especially helpful to know that you will have time in Athens prior.
I can say that May is a fantastic time to be there--I am working on possibly returning for my second trip in May!
