There’s a change in the service between the airport and central Athens from 1st November: all passengers will have to change trains at Doukissis Plakentias.
Apparently this has something to do with there not being enough trains now there is a direct link with Piraeus. It also seems the change is permanent.
Seems to me this makes the metro more inconvenient and will make the bus a better option more often than not.
