is it easy enough for jetlagged seniors to find atm at athens airport ?
we arrive on swissair and are being met.

ATMs can be found in any airport. It is best to use a bank branded ATM for best currency conversion rates.

There are numerous ATMs at the airport. Once you go out the arrivals doors you'll be in the main lobby. Look for ATMs near the back wall.
Always withdraw in the local currency (Euros in Greece), where ever you are. In Greece you should use only the ATMs of the four Greek Banks, namely : National Bank - Pireus bank - Alpha Bank or Eurobank.
The often found ATMs with the name "Euronet Worldwide" (blue ATMs) are not representing a bank, but a change office which charges extra fees.
It is important you let your local bank know where you are going and dates.
