I recently read on a trip report or trip advice that a poster had stayed at a hotel near the water that had a complimentary shuttle to the international airport. I have been trying to find the posting and can't seem to locate it. Does anyone have a suggestion for this hotel or a similar hotel. I'll be arriving in Piraeus. Thanks!

Maybe you are talking about the Avra Hotel, but this one is at the port of Rafina and not at the port of Piraeus.
To go from Piraeus to the airport there is the bus and the metro. The metro is the fastest and the bus the cheapest.

We stayed at Peri’s Hotel (https://www.perishotelapt.gr/athens-airport-hotel-accommodation.html), close to the airport, with free shuttle. They drove us to Piraeus the next morning to catch our ferry. It sounds like you’re going the opposite direction than we were. They’re also fairly close to water, but east of downtown Athens, not south, like Piraeus itself.
