We are flying into Athens airport on Olympic Air and out to Rome on Ryanair and only have one hour and 5 minutes. What will we have to do to make our flight and do you think we will experience a problem?
Athens has one large terminal so that should help. Are you coming from another European city in the Schengen zone?
What will we have to do to make our flight
Say LOTS of prayers.
If you have checked bags, you have to drop the bags 40 minutes prior to departure.
Boarding closes 20 minutes prior to departure.
The best scenario is you have 45 minutes; with checked bags you have 25 minutes.

Hopefully you can make a change to one of the flights
Thank you for answers. We have no checked bags. I will contact booking agency tomorrow to see if I can make a change.
To make matters worse I believe Ryanair uses the satellite terminal which is said to be 20 minutes away from the main terminal. I did read that the satellite terminal is mostly used for Domestic flights and yours is international so that may mean the Ryanair flight is from the main terminal. However a google search listing the airlines that use the main terminal does not have Ryanair on the list.

In the main terminal, walking distance from Area A to Area B is short. From https://www.aia.gr/traveler/landing-in-Athens/transfer-information/:
Regardless of origin, passengers of all inbound flights enter the main terminal building on the Arrivals Level.
All flights to non-Schengen countries depart from Area A. All flights to Schengen countries [and domestic] depart from Area B. Follow Terminal Signage.
Per this site, use of the satellite terminal is high-season only: https://www.airport-athens.com/satellite-terminal.php
Once again thank you so much for all of your help. Kiwi said we should make our connection and if not they will rebook us
Who is Kiwi?
KIWI.com is the website/booking agency we booked the flight through
