Hi- we will be in Athens July 14 (fly in from Naxos and land at 1:30 PM), cannot get into our Airbnb til 4. Our Airbnb is right next to the Acropolis Museum for reference (Eastern side of bldg).
We leave back for the USA on the 16th at 10:30 AM so we have about 1.5 days there to explore.
We plan to buy Acropolis tickets when they come to be for sale as early as possible on the 15th. Anyone have a recommendation for a small tour that can walk and explain to us what we are looking at
I am trying to plan the day for when we arrive on the 14th- is there dinner recommendations, or rooftop bars/restaurants we should go to near our place. And then I also want to have a plan for after the Acropolis/museum.
Are there any fun cultural events we could go to (Im picturing a simile like Seville is to Flamenco as Athens is to ___) at night or late afternoon since we have two of those to fill up!
