Athena's Combined Ticket Experience?

Hello fellow travelers!

Based on RS book, I am purchasing the Athena's Combined Ticket for our upcoming 2 day visit to Athens.

Wondering if anyone has recent experience with this. To purchase you must choose a date and time but it isn't clear for what? I assume this time is for the first destination? If yes, how do we book times at the other destinations? For example, we will be going to the Ancient Agora before going to the Acropolis but certainly want to book our time for the Acropolis (early, early morning).

Any recent experience would be so helpful!

This is where i am purchasing ticket from:

Thank you so much!

This is the right website to buy your tickets.

The time slot you must specify when booking your Combined ticket corresponds only to the Acropolis visit time. You can visit the other sites included in the ticket at any time within 5 days from the first visit.

Note that in August there are a lot of people even early in the morning to visit the Acropolis (more than 20,000 visitors per day). Since everyone thinks it's best to visit the Acropolis as early as possible, there are queues as early as 8am.

About visiting Acropolis read this:

Thank you SO much for this response. I wish the website was clearer. I do have one clarification about your answer if you don't mind.
We plan to visit the Acropolis on Day 2 of our trip. (I will book the time for that - at 8am). On Day 1, we hope to visit some of the other sites on the combo ticket. Is that ok? Or do the 5 days start AFTER the Acropolis visit? The way it is worded on the site makes it sound like you must visit the Acropolis first and then you can go to the other sites for 5 days. Thank you SO MUCH!!

The 5 days starts from the day you make the first visit to any site included in the Combined ticket. If you visit the first site on a Tuesday, your ticket will be valid until Saturday included to access the other sites

Ok super! It was confusing because you have to enter a date which seemed like the start date. Anyway, thank you for letting me know the date is for the acropolis visit and that the ticket can start before then! This was really helpful! Take care! I love this forum! :)

The date you enter when purchasing your ticket is actually assumed to be the date of your first visit to one of the sites included in the combined ticket.
Until now there was a tolerance, but as the rules are changing and access to the Acropolis will be more strictly controlled try to respect the dates and times you have booked as access may be denied if you come to a different date and time slot.

I would add that in just 2 days you may not have the time (or the strength, with temperatures that can reach 110C during the day) to visit all the sites included in the Combined ticket
