April solo travel in Crete

I’ll be in Chania and Heraklion for a week in mid-April. This will be my 4th trip to Greece, though first time back to Crete in many years, and this time as a solo traveler. I won’t have a car this time, and am fine with bus travel. Any suggestions for local group tours or day trips while in Chania or Heraklion? Obviously, I’ll visit Knossos again. Thanks.

Lots to see in these places and much inbetween too. If you stop at Rethymnon you can visit the fortress - and the lovely beach, There is a small castle on the harbour in Iraklio, after a lovely walk on the harbour front. In all places lovely churches. So much to see!!

Happy planning! We spent two weeks on Crete, based in Chania. Loved it all!
Consider an overnight or two on the south coast, Loutro, Sougia.

You might want to look at Wanderlust tours. Small groups with bus driver and guide. Excellent.
