April or May for temps around 70 F with low humidity.

I’m thinking mid April to visit on RS tour. It will be a challenge with so many hills and stairs in full sun as it is.

Which month? Pros and cons?

Online research will help as much as off-the-cuff opinions, would require a bit of effort on your part .. I've always liked this comprehensive chart giving MANY weather facts for each location https://www.weatherbase.com/weather/city.php3?c=GR&refer= Since the Rick tours usually are mainland, involving Peloponnese, You can look at averages for Athens, then Patras (N W pelops) and Pilos/Pylos (SW Pelops) ... and get a good fix. You might have full sun some days, but on/off showers are still part of the picture (6 - 10 days w some precip in April).

Another thing u should research is EASTER/HOly Week dates -- v different for Orthodox. Here's another link - https://www.timeanddate.com/holidays/greece/2023 ... it shows that 2023 your proposed timing would land u smack inthe middle of Good Friday - Holy Sat - Easter Sunday -Easter Monday... during all of which, much of Greece will not be "open for business" and sightseeing would be crippled. Always a good idea to check calendar of countries u plan to visit.

Given your requirements, I'd think that early May might suit u better. In Greece (& Most of Europe) May 1 is Labor Day -- and affects ALL public transportation but just 1 day, & almost all museums & ancient sites are up & running.

We were on the April 16th RS tour this year and really like being there in April. The weather was a wide range of short sleeves and shorts weather to wearing almost all of the clothes I brought while we were in the mountains for 2 days. We purposefully went during Easter and found the Easter celebrations wonderful and interesting. We did miss one activity becasue it was Easter, but eveyone in our group agreed that the Easter activities we got to do fully out weighed the one missed location.
