I'm in the early planning stages of at trip to Greece in late spring, and in searching flight possibilities between Athens and Santorini the flight at the best time of day seems to be operated by Hahn Air. I've never heard of them and wonder if anyone has had experience with them?
I've never heard of it either. But, I have to admit, when I saw the name, Hahn Air, my first thought was of the character who owns the diner on the TV show, "Two Broke Girls," with the thought: "Now Hahn has an airline?"
(Sorry, I've spent wayyy toooo much time today boxing up Christmas ornaments from a tree that has wayyy tooo many, but each holds a special memory (many of from travels). But, the abundance of ornaments helps to hide the bottle-brush aspects of my $99 Walmart faux tree...LOL. One has to pinch pennies in some way to fund the travel habit :)
Hopefully the next person to respond will be much more helpful than I have been :)
Ruth,
You made me curious. Found a thread on Trip Advisor (re: Africa and Hahn Air), which indicated that Hahn Air was merely a reservation service for other airlines. So, I Googled a bit and found the following of interest:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hahn_Air
So, if they are, in fact, just a e-ticketing service of sorts, the real question MIGHT be for which airline in Greece, and what is the operating/satisfaction for that particular airline.................again, I'm just guessing here.
Ruth,
I've also never heard of Hahn Air and would probably not be comfortable flying with them. For flights between Athens and Santorini, I'd prefer Aegean or Olympic.
A few weeks ago I got tickets for us from Santorini to Athens for 37 euros/pp, including taxes and the cost for each checking a bag. Very reasonable time - - late morning departure; airline, Olympic. I know you're talking about the other direction, but they do a lot of flights. You can sign up to get advisories for when they have sales.
